I love chocolate… just a little bit

Coca Nib Rub

Alright, I will be honest. Valentine’s Day is actually my favorite holiday (if you can call it that). I like that I don’t have to wear a costume. I like that I don’t have to decorate or shop, for the most part. And to top it off, it is mostly about chocolate. Lots and lots of chocolate. Besides, it is right after my birthday, giving me a double-whammy of goodies, not that I need it.

Most people immediately think of chocolates for Valentine’s Day. Some of us think of chocolate EVERY DAY! In honor of the day dedicated to love (or Hallmark??) I thought I would put together a little chocolate montage for those of you looking to pull together a little something special for your very own love bug on Valentine’s Day.

Half Baked Cookie Sandwiches

Better-than-Hot Cocoa Cookies. The single most popular post! Check it out on FoodGawker also.

Half Pop Ice Cream Loaf

HOT! Ghost Fudge Sauce

Chocolate Pear Upside Down Cake

Chocolate Tiramisu

Chocolate Cheesecake, second most popular post!

Chocolate Souffle

Chocolate Cream Puffs

S’mores Cupcakes. These are my favorite. I think my friend Dan Garlington would agree.

Chocolate Brownie Cookies and Chocolate Donuts

Flourless Chocolate Cake

Chocolate Pudding

It is clear that I have a problem with chocolate, but sadly what I have blogged about is only a sliver of what I actually make. YIKES!

And just to make sure you know, some of this is HEALTHY!! Seriously, if you ever get a chance, make a cocoa nib rubbed steak. I made this one with cocoa nibs, Kosher salt, red chili flakes and ground star anise and then finished with zested garlic and olive oil prior to putting on the grill. These were AWESOME! BTW, happy birthday boyfriend :)
